Margaret Cho is a screaming laugh riot. I adore her because she is politically incorrect and wildly inappropriate. And I actually peed my pants at one of her shows. Believe me, it was more awkward for my date. She put on a tremendous performance the night I met her. She was still seething from the cancellation of her show … so you know how anti-TV she was. I, of course, am pro-TV, but didn’t tell her that. You’d never know from looking at this picture – but, I swear, she was lit like an Xmas tree when I met her. Not that I was much better.

Girls just want to have fun. Girls like Cyndi Lauper, however, have so much fun they can’t tell time. Er, time after time, that is. Girlfriend was so late for her interview with me that we only spent about three minutes kibitzing and chatting. Didn’t matter. I still worship the ground that she walks on. And her concert was JAW-dropping.
