Know what I love to watch? When someone’s shooting star goes Supernova! Rhiannon Ally is a perfect example of that. Not only is she a sweetheart, she’s a genuine knockout. From humble beginnings she worked her way up the ranks at local news stations in the Midwest. One day Ally spotted a want ad for a host of a national talk show. She makes a call and sends a tape and – BOOM – two weeks later she’s being seen by 90% of the country. She used to do traffic reports every 10 minutes. (Yawn.) Now she’s interviewing the cast of “How I Met Your Mother” on her new gig as the host of “Better TV”. (Score!) Her future is so bright, she’s gotta wear shades!

You haven’t really lived until you’ve nearly lost your life battling for control of your microphone, but such is life when you’re interviewing famous wrestlers. Let’s face it .. America loves wrestling. Thus, I did my homework before I interviewed Kurt Angle. Olympic medalist, check. WWE superstar, check. How hard can interviewing a wrestler possibly be? Well, when Kurt stumbled out all buff and surly – all I could think was, “You’re short!” Unfortunately, I didn’t just think it … I said it. Well, come on … his bio said he was 6’2”. More like 5’9”, but whatever. There was so much behind-the-scenes mayhem going on during the interview I had to cut it short. Plus, Kurt was chomping at the bit to get me riled up. (Of course, this was LONG before he was arrested for alleged drug use and domestic violence, less I digress.) Mercifully, I had a chance to get a semi-decent snapshot of “The Wee One”, my anchorwoman Lara and me. Note, we’re the tall ones.
