I’ll say this much about Marlo — she’s got schmoozing and glad-handing down to a science. When she arrived at the station to promote her new book, it was as if the President had come to town. She smiled, waved, shook hands, kissed babies, kissed hands, shook babies and was a general delight. And when the interview was over — she quickly disappeared in to the ether like stars do. She’s also 77 years old. (Yes, my jaw dropped as well. Her plastic surgeon is a miracle worker.) This woman has won four Emmys, married Phil Donahue and was Rachel’s mom on “Friends”. She’s practically TV royalty.
