Singer/Goddess/Diva Michelle Visage and I are this close in age. The only diff? She had a #2 Billboard hit back in the early ’90’s with the girl group Seduction. (“It Takes Two”, anyone?) I, meanwhile, was still trying to figure out how to work the dorm’s washing machines. Visage grew up and got in tight with RuPaul — and now she’s one of the stalwart judges on RuPaul’s Drag Race. She’s the proverbial Mother Hen to all the queens — dishing out tough love and some less-than-bon mots. I met Visage while she was on tour emceeing RuPaul’s Battle of the Seasons — and she’s got powerhouse lungs under her powerhouse rack. She about ripped the roof off the theatre when she sang her way through “Time Warp”.
