After five years of gestation, my book You Have Four Minutes: My Life as an Unlikely Celebrity Interviewer will finally see the light of day on Tuesday. While it was conceived during the pandemic, things really didn’t start coming together until last year when I signed my book deal.
God, that felt good to type. How good? I’m gonna type it again.

Since my book was about A-B-C-D-Z-list celebrities, I knew I needed their blessing. I also needed them to shamelessly compliment my author-rific achievements — which originated from many of my Pitch KC interviews.
Most were willing. Some were appalled by my forwardness and gave me kudos reluctantly. And a few flat-out refused. (I’m not going to name names, but it rhymes with Fatty Pewmoan.)
My publisher — who reminds me of Roger “I’m-too-old-for-this-sh*t” Murtaugh in Lethal Weapon — couldn’t believe I scored some of these blurbs.
