Whatever suits you …

I’ll readily admit … I much prefer wearing jeans to anything else.  Good thing I work in a place where casual attire is the norm.  (And by casual, I mean, shorts and flip-flops.  During the summer my ad agency looks like a giant beach party.)

A few years ago though, I broke down and bought a suit.  Expensive.  Tasteful.  Armani.  I’ve worn it exactly three times.  Two weddings and an interview.  The minute I put on the suit and tie the tie I always think two things: 1) damn, I look good and 2) when the hell can I take this penguin suit off?

If I were forced to wear a suit every day (e.g. used car salesman or insurance hack), I would never survive.  I remember watching my dad put a tie on everyday and thinking, “How cool!”  My how times have changed.

In my latest episode of “What the Chic”, I learn how to pull off, er, put on, a two-button suit.  Yes, it’s back.  It’s lean.  It’s mean.  And there’s zero room for shoulder pads.
