About ten minutes before the movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” blew up, I got to interview the stars of the movie. I think they sensed the movie was about to become a box office smash. At the time I met them, I think I was one of eight people in Kansas City who had seen the movie. I proceeded to tell every single person I knew about the movie. Every. Single. Person. I, personally, take full responsibility for the success of that film, at least in the KC Metro area. Both Nia Vardalos and John Corbett were chatty and engaging. Unfortunately, John did not want to discuss “Sex In The City”, which is all I wanted to talk about. Didn’t matter though … John is still hotter than bacon grease.
